I researched some ticket prices of some airlines, it seems that Silkair offers SGD$858 for a round trip, Japan Airlines offers SGD$762 with a choice of departure at 8.20am or 11.20pm and return at 5.35pm or 12.35am (Mar 19th) (local time for all) and United Airlines offers USD$499.80 (SGD$699) with a departure at 7.20am and return at 12.20am (Mar 19th) (local time). I'm not too sure about the conversion for the USD to SGD though, given the state of affairs now, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Or you can fly Malaysia Airlines lol for just under $600 with tax.

It's probably less hassle too, transfers could get problematic.

btw anyone knows whether japan has a free wireless@jp that I can sign up to? Cause google map on iTouch is pretty useful and even gives directions but requires Internet access...
